Individual Woodworking Tuition
Working one-on-one with your instructor you can design and make your own furniture project, undertake specialist woodworking techniques or learn how to design and make jigs to use in your own workshop.
Individual woodworking tuition is an unique opportunity to focus exclusively on your project. Your pieces will reflect your personality; your desire to create beautiful one-of-a-kind pieces of furniture, made by you to your specifications.
Your project may require design development and documentation. Working with your instructor you will produce a set of working drawings and a "cut list" for your project. Sectional sizes, availability and suitability of timber will be considered along with other materials and techniques for your project.
One-off formers, jigs and templates may need to be constructed for your custom furniture project. It may also involve woodworking techniques not ordinarily covered in group classes such as laminating, kerfing, cutting, joining and laying veneers.
We can also help you commission specialist services such as a glazier, steel fabricator, turner, upholster, CNC cutting service.
Individual tuition is open to all levels of woodworking enthusiasts.
